Love Story
First Meet
Three years ago, we became friends when talking on a penpal website. Brenda noticed that Timothy was a fellow Christian and was simply seeking a friend to share her faith with — and that is how it all began. Timothy was immediately smitten by her devotion to the Lord, as well as her sweet, loving nature and her diverse beauty, beautifully captured in her modeling photos.
Fall in Love
One year ago, she requested that Timothy pray for her as her birthday gift. This was the first time Brenda and Timothy had spoken to one another beyond text. Timothy was so moved at her request that, from that moment on, he started falling deeply in love with her, and she with him
In a Relationship
Our relationship progressed according to God’s timing. Because of the great distance between us, we never imagined a relationship could be possible. But once we started to get closer we realized that Jesus can do whatever He wants. If He wanted us to come together then He would make it happen. Each day we prayed, placing our faith in God’s will and trusting His perfect timing to bring us together.
Engagement
Finally, the day had arrived when Timothy was confident, and wealthy enough, to take the step of faith and fly out to Indonesia. With only his clothes and his Bible, Timothy set off on the adventure God had placed him on. He arrived to his future bride waiting for him in the airport with a big picture of himself and the tagline, “This is my taste in men. Help me to find him!” And instantly he knew this was the woman God wanted him to marry. It was not long after when Timothy took Brenda out on their first date, and during a romantic song proposed to her. She eagerly said yes — God’s will fulfilled in His perfect timing.
Wedding
Brenda and Timothy chose to have their wedding on November 5th, the same day as Timothy’s Father’s birthday. Not only to honor his Father, but now it’s very easy for them to remember their anniversary, too. Their love is supported firmly on the foundation of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Always relying on Him to enrich their loves and guide them as they begin this amazing journey He has blessed us with. Praise Jesus!
